Technical Specifications For Filtair "Fan Pad" Type Rigid Media Evaporative Cooling Systems
GENERAL
This INOVATIVE design is based on placing the Exhaust machines on one wall with the Cooling Pads on the opposite wall diagonally opposite to cool and pressurize the hall. For this design the following parameters apply
- a. There should be NO obstruction in the airflow path.
- b. The roof should be insulated if possible to have lower temperature gradient.
- c. The Pads and Fans should be evenly distributed on the Wall to ensure there are NO pockets.
- d. The room hall should be air tight so that there in NO infringement of out side unconditioned air in the space being conditioned.
EQUIPMENT USED
Fan - Filtair Slow Speed Belt Driven Axial Fan based cooling machines FVAC Series with 6 Alum Blades
out of 14 Ga Alum. Mounted on dynamically balanced CAST Aluminum Hub of specified Diameter (four
options available) made in India under technical association of Termotechnica Pericolli of Albenga, Italy.
Pad Section- The wet section have powder coated body panel18 Ga GI sheet. 100 mm thick Cooling
pads will be provided designed @ 2.5 m/s to dive requisite adiabatic efficiency. 2mm thick FRP custom
fabricated header will be provided for the water distribution using 20 mm PVC perforated piping. All wet
sections will include 7 layer 20 micron Aluminum Wire mesh filters' of 'specified thickness including the
G.I. fabricated louveis with powder coating and mounting in S.S.-304, 20G filter frame and water tank size
(1800x1800x450 mm)
